Rendered: 2015 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

Wouldn’t you agree it appears Lamborghini designers jumped into a pool of gall, and the Veneno is what splashed out? Now the outlandishness has been tamed a bit. The good folks at Top Speed have created a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster rendering, and the transformation is interesting — the Veneno loses its roof, and suddenly its design gains 27 percent more credibility.

Lamborghini is planning to build nine of these open-top Venenos. We are sad they limited production to only three Veneno coupes, but at least we’re getting three times more of the prettier roadster, and who can argue against more topless action?

Top Speed predicts the hypercar’s roof will be a two-piece carbon fiber setup, much like the one found on the Aventador Roadster.

Because the Aventador provides the Veneno’s underpinnings, it will come with the Aventador’s 6.5L v12, but with more gall/performance to the tune of 750 horsepower.
