Scuderia Glickenhaus SCG 004s

The SCG 004S is an amazing new American supercar concept coming in 2019. Here’s what to expect…

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, or SCG, is a the pet project of Jim Glickenhaus. It all starts in 2005 when Jim had the idea of building a custom Ferrari with a body design from Pininfarina. The P4/5 was a homage to the Ferrari P3/4 race car and had a Ferrari Enzo chassis as the base. In just one and half years we had the P4/5. Then Glickenhaus built a racing version using the Ferrari F430 Scuderia as the starting point. Having built two one-off cars, the next logical step was to design a new car from scratch.

After forming SCG, the first car, the 003, was a race car that can be driven to the track and raced, then converted back into street trim. The ambitious plan from SCG was a success as the car has competed in major endurance races around the world. Now SCG is launching a new road car, the 004S. The incredible design incorporates some of the stunning lines of the P4/5. It also features one of our favorite seating configurations: a center driver’s seat with a passenger on either side.
