SEMA 2012: Fatlace and Falken's GT-R

Half the fun of SEMA is getting to check out all of the cool and crazy bodykits that people come up with. Take the Fatlace GT-R for example. That kit is… different. A lot of people don’t really care for the styling of the original GT-R, and honestly we’re not sure this will do much to change their minds. Still, it’s kinda cool in RWB way. Not because it’s super smooth, and sleek, but because it’s really not. We can’t say the same for the Catfish.

Would you believe that underneath the flowing lines of this roofless wonder is a Miata? At least the car starts as a Miata before Bauer Limited Production tears it down and rebuilds it into this coupe. They say, it’d be available with the boosted four from the Miata. That’s great and all, but the option of having a 400hp LS3 under the hood is far more interesting. It’s hard to say no to a 1700 lb car with an insane power to weight ratio.

More cars from the show are below, with more coming soon. Let us know what you think!
