Six Porsche 918 Spyders Together is the Rarest of Rare Moments
Six Porsche 918s in a place that is not Porsche headquarters? Is this real life?
If you consider Southern California real life, then yes, it is. But in a lot of ways, it’s really not. How could it be when it’s where dreams come true at the happiest place on Earth? Where you can go skiing the same day, then drive down to the beach to surf? Where you can drive down a cliff-edged road overlooking the ocean and see six Porsche 918 Spyders at the same time? SoCal seems like an imaginary place, but as the video below proves, it’s not.
Drake aka DLM Photos had the extreme pleasure of grabbing a ride in the hybrid supercar following Monterrey car week earlier this year and shot some footage from the experience.
“Back in late August, right after Car Week, I was fortunate enough to get a ride in a Porsche 918 Spyder on a 6 car 918 Spyder drive,” he said in the YouTube description. “The route was from Santa Monica down to Newport Beach, and it finished with a brunch at an owner’s home. What an experience it was, can’t thank my friend C (@gh0st_n_stuff on IG)”
We’ll say it again: Six 918 Spyders driving together. There are only 918 of these cars in the world, and 297 in the United States. That’s next-level rare. That’s like eating a never-ending bowl of ice cream while riding a unicorn on the way to marry your dream human. Check out these beauties below:
