Flashy Aventador Starts Small Fire At Gumball 3000

The Gumball 3000 rally is currently going on, and as expected, there’s an Aventador in it (several actually). Surrounded by hotel patrons, children, and other well-heeled and hungover rally participants, this Lambo owner wants to rev it up for the crowd. No judgement here; I live in Los Angeles, land of the super car, where I’m less likely to see a Nissan Xterra than a Lamborghini. I’m jaded, broken, a brain saturated by years of stats and spottings. I’m Hugh Heffner trying to get excited.

But normal people aren’t broken. They like Lamborghinis, and this might be the only time they’ll hear one rev. They’ve got camera phones ready. They’re already rehearsing how they’ll tell the story at the office. “They had one of those new Lamborghinis down there, the Adventudor, or something. Anyway, it’s cool, here’s what it sounds like.”
