I can’t think of one person who’s ever been fired from their job for liking it too much, but I’m surprised Porsche hasn’t let someone go for that reason. Parking garages can be dangerous places; someone might be in the shadows of one, waiting to offer me drugs. Instagram user johan9ff came upon a car in a German parking structure that could easily get him hooked on that addictive substance known as adrenaline: the 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
The new 991 GT3 is an excellent car. It’s unbelievably fast, it handles like a dream, and no longer has the tendency for self-immolation. Thankfully. Now though, it has earned even more praise from Road & Track who named the new Porsche its “Performance Car of the Year.”
This is a video of a bunch of Porsche’s best hot shoe testers terrorizing the ‘Ring in all the flavors of the new 991. It’s pretty epic. You see them pass a new M4. Slide the car around a few bends. Absolutely walk away from a Supra. Take down what appears to be a new Rolls Royce. And catch some air in quite a few places.
