Spy photos and Nurburgring clips are no longer necessary. Porsche has leaked a few pictures of their latest GT3 today. We don’t really have any more information besides what we’ve gathered from previous spy photos. What we do know, is that it’ll have a stratospheric 9000 rpm redline and a 3.8 liter flat-six. Most likely, […] More »
Fact: Zagato builds beautiful things. The first car that comes to mind is the arresting Aston Martin Zagato, but they have a long history of building cars that make people ooh and ahh from looks alone. Porsche’s Carrera GT has the same effect on people even without the help of Zagato’s designers. The base platform […] More »
Overall, I think the Porsche 993 doesn’t get enough love. Sure, it’s arrival signaled the death of the air cooled Porsche, but without it, there’s little chance that the GT2 would’ve ever existed. And honestly, who wants to live in a world without turbo, rear-wheel-drive Porsches? Boring people, that’s who.
2013 Porsche Boxster Versus 2013 Porsche Carrera Okay. So we know which one is “officially” the better car. Eventually their infatuation with winning everything culminated in the dominant 959, but before that, they also built 911s to tackle the Paris to Dakar rally. They were lifted, equipped with all-wheel-drive, the engine from a Carrera 3.2, and kevlar underbody protection. They’re as hardcore as […] More »
We love the 911. We also love the GT-R. Even since Nissan unleashed godzilla on the automotive world, their target has been the 911. That rivalry first played itself out on the Nurburgring, and now on the drag strip. The Porsche has been worked over by the power hungry tuners at Switzer. They’re no strangers […] More »
