We’ve heard about plenty of fantastic, drool-inspiring track days, but this is ridiculous. If there was a Track Day Hall of Fame, this would be the induction ceremony.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is among the craziest of all today’s hybrid hypercars. It features a naturally aspirated V12 engine that combines with an electric motor to pump out an astonishing 950 horsepower to the rear wheels alone.
Now as some of you know, to get into some tracks, you have to get through a sound test first. This usually occurs when there are noise restrictions on said track. It’s an easy enough process.
Fast forward to the present and McLaren is at it again, except this time with their hybrid hypercar the P1. To celebrate the car’s race iteration launch, the P1 GTR, McLaren brought the two supercars together for a little track fun.
Track day toys are just beginning to catch on here in the States, but over in Europe the sport has grown beyond anything anyone could have ever imagined.
Ferrari is hard at work creating the ultimate track weapon. No, it’s not finally fixing their Formula 1 cars so they are actually competitive. Rather, Ferrari is continuing the new tradition of building the ultimate version of their already ultimate road cars for the XX Corsi Clienti program.
