Take the Red Pill and Ride Motorcycles with Keanu Reeves
Did you know that Keanu Reeves is the co-owner of a motorcycle company? It’s true! With co-owner Gard Hollinger, Reeves has helped build Arch Motorcycles, and the two presented brand’s first production bike last year, the $78,000 KRGT-1. Now, it’s being featured in the 2015 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.
For $150,000, you get the Arch Motorcycle & Ride Experience. In addition to the KRGT-1, you get a Matrix fan’s dream trip. After you and a guest are flown to Los Angeles in first-class, you stay at Shutters on the Beach, a super fancy hotel in Santa Monica, then spend two days riding, eating, and bonding with Reeves and Hollinger.
As for the bike, you get this special edition paint scheme and performance suspension on top of the base model. The KRGT-1 has a 2032cc fuel-injected V-twin in a Billet steel and aluminum tube frame.
The swingarm is modular Billet aluminum, it has adjustable Ohlins front suspension, a Race Tech single rear shock, and a proprietary six-speed transmission. Oh, and it has carbon fiber wheels, fenders, and cowl, too. That all comes together for a 538-pound dry package that blends retro and modern styling.
