The ALMS returns to action at Lime Rock.
The American Le Mans series’ annual Le Mans break is over. The teams head to Connecticut’s historic Lime Rock Park for the fourth round in the 2013 championship.
Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing leads the P1 class by only four points over Rebellion Racing. Rebellion, however, will not be on the grid. The Rebellion team has opted to run a limited ALMS schedule for the remainder of the season. The team is focusing their efforts on building a new car to compete in Europe next year.
In P2, Level 5 Motorsports has built up a seven point lead over rival Extreme Speed Motorsports.
PRI Mathiasen Motorsports has a commanding twelve point lead in the spec PC class. CORE Autosport is determined to show that their new GT effort will not distract them from the PC class title.
In GT, Corvette Racing is on top with a four point lead over BMW team RLL, while CORE Autosport is looking to build on their respectable, inaugural GT class weekend at Monterey.
In the spec Porsche GTC class, Henrique Cisneros has established a ten point lead in his HGT Motorsports entry. Alex Job Racing team mates Jeroen Bleekemolen and Cooper Mac Neil are tied for second. Fan favorite Patrick Dempsey is seventh in the standings.
