2012 LA Auto Show Preview: The 2013 Cayman Surfaces!
The LA Auto Show is kind of a big deal. Since California is a one of the biggest consumers of sports cars in the world, it makes sense for it to be a hot bed of debuts and a big reveals every year. 2012 is shaping up to be one of the best years ever. Don’t believe me? Well, lets see if I can’t change your mind.

First of all, Porsche will be unveiling a “new small sports car” at the show this week. They’ve kept mum on exactly what it will be, but it’s almost definitely going to be a new Cayman. In fact they’ve already leaked photos all over the internet. Considering the Boxster just dropeed, it makes sense that the Cayman would be next in line. So far though, all we’ve got are fuzzy scans and instagram snap shots. We’ll be sure to fix that tomorrow.

There’s also Jaguar’s F-Type. To fans of the brand, this is kind of a big deal as it’s the spiritual successor to sexy E-type Jag of yore and a final nail in the coffin of the Jaguars pudgy-old-car image. It’s set to be an outright hoot to boot. At least, with Jaguars 5 liter V8 it will be.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Audi’s bringing a quartet of  new car to north american debut, Nissan is bringing out an undisclosed GT-R, BMW’s crazy looking i8 will finally make it’s production ready debut, and that doesn’t even touch on the concept cars.
