The Bonkers Koenigsegg Regera & One:1 are Visiting NYC
The bonkers Koenigsegg Regera and One:1 are currently on display at the New York International Auto Show, though as most machines with such status—briefly.
The “mega-car corral” both ‘eggs’ were kept in was reminiscent of a low-end trade show booth, but the Regera and One:1 that stood to its left, lit up the auto show like Times Square on New Year’s. The metallic-red Koenigsegg Regera proudly showed off its carbon fiber bits, and not to mention its lovely wheels (also carbon), and simply looked stunning even when surrounded by many other sports and luxury cars nearby.
The One:1, which is referred to as the world’s only “mega-car” is equally impressive, though less of a novelty as we’ve grown somewhat used to such body style with the CCX launching over a decade ago. Shockingly, the combined horsepower figure of those two cars is nearly 3,000 horsepower, given then Regera’s primarily-electric 1,500 and the One:1 1,360.
If you wan to check them out in person, head over the show, but do so before March 26, as this pair is only sticking around for two days following the show’s press days!
