Titanium Pagani Huayra Sounds “Meh”

Pagani is a company that exudes perfection. Everything, from the engine, to the perfect carbon fiber weave is absolutely astonishing in its level of intricacy. Pagani is a testament that Ferrari and Lamborghini can be beat at their own games. And the company’s newest creation, the Huayra, is their crowning achievement in that strive for perfection.

However, whereas the Pagani Zonda had the most beautiful sounding symphony of an exhaust, the Huayra leaves me with a profoundly “Meh” feeling. It doesn’t have the high pitched staccato whine that the Zonda once had. But rather, between the turbo’s and the larger scale exhaust pipes, the noise sounds a bit muffled. Even with this particular Huayra below.

The La Monza Lisa Huayra is the only one to have a full titanium exhaust which is meant to give it a much louder presence, but it still just doesn’t have the almighty hell fire noise that the Zonda had. But I’ll leave it up to you all, which do you prefer, this Huayra or the Zonda?
