‘Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts’ Movie Trailer Features a Porsche 911
The Transformer known as ‘Jazz’ is correctly portrayed by a Porsche 911 in the latest installment of the hit movie franchise.
The film ‘Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts’ is coming to theaters in June 2023. And as any gearhead can tell you, these movies are as much about the cars as anything else. The Transformer ‘Bumblebee’ may be one of the most famous Camaros ever made. However, in the latest installment a Porsche 911 will have a starring role. This will correct an egregious mistake made in the 2007 ‘Transformers’ film. In that movie, director Michael Bay decided for some reason that the Transformer ‘Jazz’ should be a Pontiac Solstice. This despite the fact that in the original Transformers series from 1984 the character was a Porsche 911. Actually, the number 4 Martini Porsche 935/77 racecar to be exact. No offense to Pontiac Solstice owners, but a Porsche is really the only car for Jazz, and we are happy to see this rectified.
The latest trailer for ‘Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts’ recently dropped on the Paramount Pictures YouTube channel. It is in this trailer that we see the 911 featured quite heavily. It is not a 935 racecar. But it does have a color scheme reminiscent of the Martini racing livery. The 911 in the film is a 964 generation Porsche 911 Turbo. It even has a manual transmission. Not a bad car to have as a Transformer. Of course, many other vehicles are also featured.
Other Cars
Naturally there is a yellow and black Camaro in the ‘Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts’ movie. It appears to be a 1977 model that is used this time for Bumblebee. Optimus Prime is cruising around as a semi-truck. There is also a VW microbus in the trailer although we don’t see that one transform. Needless to say, it seems like there will be plenty to keep a car enthusiast entertained in this movie.

So, what is this new movie all about besides cool cars? Paramount Pictures sums it up for us this way. “It will take audiences on an action-packed, globetrotting adventure as the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons join the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth. Noah, a sharp young guy from Brooklyn, and Elena, an ambitious, talented artifact researcher, are swept up in the conflict as Optimus Prime and the Autobots face a terrifying new nemesis bent on their destruction named Scourge.”

We are not sure if it is just because of all the cool cars or not. But the trailer for ‘Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts’ has become one of the most watched movie trailers of all time. On the very first day the trailer dropped it was viewed 238 million times. In the first week that total grew to 494 million global views.
