Turbo Supras Owning Supercars: Never Not Hilarious
Supercars are a special breed. They’re built with the utmost attention to detail, they cost more than you could probably get by selling every part of your body, and the rarity and exclusivity makes them a treat to see on the open road. Still, that doesn’t make them immune to the special human moment known as embarrassment.
Speaking on the Lamborghini Aventador in the video, it seems that it has a couple mods, including a custom carbon fiber rear wing. It doesn’t appear to be the SV model, because the legs are different and the wing itself is shaped differently. Either way, the owner/driver surely thinks he’s hot shit. Why wouldn’t you?
The person filming is inside a Baltic Supra built by Real Street Performance. If that’s the same Supra that’s plastered all over the Internets, that means it has more than 1,000 horsepower and can run 9’s, which is filthy. According to the description, it has a Borg Warner 7687 turbo, a Boost Logic four-inch exhaust, and an AEM EMS v2. See where this story is headed?
Guy in Lambo sees Supra challenging his superior dominance on the street, feels he must reign supreme, loses lunch money when Supra turbo spools up and shoots into hyperspace. On one hand, you could say the Lambo owner couldn’t have known the Toyota had such monster power. On the other hand, you could say, “why would a Supra be challenging a Lambo if it didn’t already know it were about to shit all over it?” The classic battle of logic versus pride. See how it plays out here:
