AMS Performance have been the kings of the quarter mile and the Texas 2k events for years. The company’s Alpha Omega Nissan GT-R isn’t so much a GT-R anymore, but rather a purpose built racecar that has the ability to destroy everything and anything that comes up against it.

For years, other companies have tried to beat the AMS Performance Alpha Omega, and for years, almost everyone has failed. Just this year, the Alpha Omega GT-R set at least three new records. However, the folks at Underground Racing have been secretly working on a car that should finally beat the AMS Performance crew.

According to Underground Racing, the company’s new Lamborghini Huracan will finally be able to beat the Alpha Omega GT-R. Dubbed the UR 2, the car makes 2,000 horsepower and Underground Racing has been practicing to beat the GT-Rs. The company stated after last month’s Racewarz, “Something we learned at this event was using street tires on the super smooth surface at Pocono Raceway doesn’t work well. Next time we will be on Drag Radials like all the fastest GT-Rs were using.

And by the looks of the video below, they definitely have a shot.
