See Valentino Balboni’s Exclusive Lamborghini Exhaust
The name Valentino Balboni should ring a loud bell if you’re a gear head, after all, he’s the man that’s said to have tested nearly 80% of all Lamborghinis ever produced. Now, that’s a job, huh?
I’ve personally had the pleasure to meet Mr. Balboni at the Lamborghini museum in Italy about a decade ago, and he’s certainly one of the coolest, down-to-earth and iconic Italian guys you could ever meet, only second to Luca di Montezemolo.
Anyhow, as chief test driver for the iconic super car manufacturer, Balboni knows a thing or two about vehicle development, but more importantly performance. In fact, he once told me he knew very little about science and engineering, he simply focused on the “feeling” behind the wheel.
It seems that Mr. Balboni (or his employees) have now learned a little bit of engineering, because he’s set to debut his own line of exclusive high-performance exhaust system line for the Lamborghini Aventador SV. From the picture you can see here, the hardware looks mind-blowingly beautiful, but no performance figures have been released for these.
All we know is that they will offer a “new dimension” of sound, and will be extremely limited availability. Oh, and they will throw a debut party at the Concorso Italiano later this month at Monterey.
