Veyron vs LaFerrari, Need We Say More?
A few months ago, we saw the supposedly fastest car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron, go up against Ferrari’s latest and greatest hybrid hypercar, the LaFerrari. In that race, the Veyron got smoked. But before the Bugatti retires to the history books, the two saw fit to have a rematch at this year’s Vmax200 event in England.
Here’s the thing though: the Bugatti is incredibly heavy, and that quad turbo V16 is an absolute monster, but it’s also 10 years old. The LaFerrari, on the other hand, is brand new and weighs almost ¾’s of what the Veyron weighs. It also produces more horsepower. Although on the third hand, the Bugatti definitely has a much higher top speed.
So what do you all think will happen in this rematch? Will the Bugatti trump the LaFerrari? Or will the LaFerrari walk away from the hypercar once again and force the Bugatti to give up its lunch money?
