When I think about China in the context of cars, I think about the reason Buick wasn’t sent to the crusher with Oldsmobile and wacky copies of smart cars and F150s. To me, communism means Soviet-era Moscow—and it’s safe to say nobody there was rolling a Lamborghini Countach. But that shows what I know, because in the context of vehicles, China has about as much in common with the USSR as daisies do with chemical warfare.
But China’s Sports Car Club is packed to the gills with hardware amazing enough to render the aforementioned Countach positively pedestrian in comparison. According to the YouTube description, along with a slew of Veyrons, Aventadors, Koenigseggs and Enzos SCC members own two—of the world’s five—Pagani Cinques and a Zonda R.
