Kimi Raikonnen Spins Trying to Tame LaFerrari

I’ll admit, I’ve probably watched every time attack lap performed by the Stig and thought to myself how easy he makes it all look. I know better of course, but the thoughts still pop up. Here’s a thrilling video of crack F1 driver, Kimi Raikkonen, hitting the track at full speed with a 963hp LaFerrari.

It’s a solid reminder to everyone that even at the uppermost performance levels, mistakes can be made. And man, when they happen, do they look damned scary.

Watch until the 00:40 mark, when the rear breaks loose for a fraction of a second and you see Raikkonen fight to bring the hypercar back under his guidance. The LaFerrari has other plans and quickly flicks 180 degrees in a billowing cloud of smoke and protesting howls of the tires.
