How to Properly Slide a New Aston Martin GT12
A few months ago, Aston Martin introduced us to the company’s new GT3 track focused weapon. However, after a legal battle with the likes of Porsche who claimed they owned the GT3 nameplate, Aston Martin was forced to change the name of the car to the Aston Martin GT12. Thankfully, the name really doesn’t matter when you have a racecar for the road.
Using a race tuned V12 motor, the new GT12 is lighter than a V12 Vantage S, has more horsepower, and has a suite of track-focused parts that are sure to get any blue blood racer this side of the Cotswolds eager to flog the Aston Martin around the track.
Of course, Aston Martin could be barking up the wrong tree and get the entire car all wrong. Thankfully, Chris Harris was on hand to test the new super track car and slid the heck out of it on a rainy circuit in the UK. If his high praise is anything to go on, maybe Aston Martin should consider building more of these amazing GT12s.
