Watch a Nissan GT-R Destroy the Quarter Mile
In the world of tuning the Nissan GT-R, there are two companies that have been battling back and forth for about as long as the GT-R has been in the United States. Those two companies are the well known AMS Performance, and less well known among the general populace, Extreme Turbo System or ETS.
For the longest time though, AMS Performance has dominated anything and everything where the two have encountered each other. The Alpha Omega by AMS is definitely worthy of its name. however, the two giants among the GT-R world recently went head to head at this year’s Texas 2k15 and the outcome was a bit different than usual.
Watch and have your mind melted by the sheer speed at which the ETS GT-R launches into the record books.
That’s right for the first time in a long while, the Alpha Omega GT-R has been schooled. ETS’s GT-R set a new world record with a quarter mile run at 7.49 seconds at 189 mph. For those paying attention. That’s extremely fast for what is still essentially a road car. Your move AMS.
