Track-Only Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Speed Caught in the Wild

Sesto Elemento

Lamborghini showed off its outrageous Gallardo-based Sesto Elemento at the Paris Motor Show back in 2010, but ever since the car went into production and then sold to twenty wealthy owners in 2011, not much has been seen of such flamboyant, track-only machine.

That’s until this past Valentine’s Day, when this video surfaced on YouTube courtesy of, dlightswitch, whom describes himself as an “Automotive enthusiast raised in Qatar”, though it’s not clear if he is associated to the Lamborghini owner, or simply a car spotter. In addition, it must be noted that besides the Sesto Elemento’s insane interior shots, the drive-by footage is captured from a swanky Rolls Royce Ghost (though it could be a Wraith) camera car.

The Sesto Elemento features a 570 horsepower V10 engine, and all-wheel drive system derived from the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, but weighs an incredibly light 2,200 pounds due to the extensive carbon fiber work performed at Sant’Agata.

While most of us will never know what it’s like to take our track-only Lambo and Rolls Royce camera car out for a spin, it’s nice to see this Middle Eastern owner enjoy his rides, even if it’s done so illegally. At least he waited until late at night!
