Watch Out, This White Venom GT is Ready to Strike!
The humble LS motor is one of the greatest engine designs ever built. It’s strong as hell, reliable to a t, and has the ability to make gobs and gobs of horsepower. So much horsepower, that when start up supercar manufacturers are looking for a relatively cheap and effective means of power, more companies choose a variation of the LS.
Drifters have also been swapping in LS motors for years due to the relative ease of parts and horsepower. However, one company, one man took the LS to new heights and broke the world with it. I speak of course of John Hennessey and his insane Venom GT.
From the Hennessey factory in Texas, the Venon GT makes a whopping 1,244 horsepower thanks to a twin turbo LS motor. When new, the car cost around $1 million, and was verified doing 270 mph which is faster than a Bugatti Veyron.
But after a very short run of 20 cars produced, there are no new Venom GTs. However, there are still a few for sale, including the only white Venom GT ever built.
According to Constantine & Pletcher Auctions, this white Venom GT is going under the hammer this Saturday and has an auction estimate of around $700,000-$900,000, but given it’s rarity and absolute speed, we wouldn’t be surprised if it went for a lot more. Alright, who wants to rob a bank with me?
