Would You Want a Rauh-Welt Begriff Cayman GT4?
Part of the car culture involves making something that’s truly your own. For companies like Porsche, they make it easy with the litany of options they offer when you spec out a new car. You can choose things like the color of the stitching, making your car one-of-a-kind. But what if you want to take that further? And what, I ask, if that extension was done on the track-focused Cayman GT4?
The folks at autoevolution have a rendering of a Cayman GT4 that received the Rauh-Welt Begriff treatment. Obviously, this isn’t a production kit, but it’s a glimpse at what one would be like. RWB kits tend to have a polarizing effect, so we don’t expect you all to like it, but it’s something that would be interesting to say the least.
I’m not sure how I feel about it. Maybe, when I was a little younger, I’d find the idea more appealing. But I like factory performance, and I wouldn’t want to change anything that would affect that with the Cayman GT4. Why spend the extra money on the GT4 to then turn around and change everything?
