Picked up a Beck Speedster

Couldn't resist... Picked up a Beck Speedster (from 04) and this one came with a few goodies including a modded 1950cc motor (about 120hp worth) and only weighs about 1450 pounds. James owned it before me and I always said I'd buy it

She needed a good detail to bring her back so Bob got to work

Doing a valve job on these motors is a LOT easier...

New gasket on the valve cover...

She does look a bit outta place eh?

Very nice. Thanks for posting the pictures. In the one sitting amongst the newer cars I didn't think it looked out of place at all. Same DNA.

Used they can run as low as 14-15K on a beck to 30K for a stellar car, the Thunderranch's are in the 22-25 used range 30ish on a 55A and the VintageSpyders and ~30K in full kit. Fibersteel and Modern Classics also produce a good 550 spyder at a number of price points.

There are major lag times on 550 spyder new built cars from even the major builders used cars give you the best protection if you are looking.

Look up a guy only with the name Dario 550, he makes some stunning 550 spyder and 356 parts.
