Best 356 Speedster Replica?

I am contemplating purchasing a turn-key 356 Speedster replica, new or gently used in pristine condition. I own a genuine 2007 997 Turbo and am not too familiar with the various manufacturers of these replicas. Read about Beck and Vintage Speedsters. I wanted to get opinions as to who makes the very best replica, top-of-the-line, complete with engine and ready to drive. If I am going down this road, I want the best and am willing to pay for it. Your thoughts will be appreciated. I am in Southern California. Thanks!

Try Intermeccanica. The best. Not cheap.

I'll second Intermeccanica, http://www.intermeccanica.com/ looked at most of the replica makers and they are simply the best. Followed by Beck, IMHO.

Check out speedsterowners.com for lots of good info and links to all of the builders.

if you haven't bought one yet, try Carrera Coachwerks in San Diego, www.carreracoachwerks.com
They build 356, 550, and 904. All turn key and to exacting specs.

I would do a lot of homework first.....website says they were founded in July 2012......not saying they cant build a quality car though.

I've heard good things about Vintage.

Says here that they bought the assets of Thunder Ranch so that might explain the date. It's interesting to see how many manufacturers had gone out of business.

Vintage Speedsters is my vote. I actually did a lot of homework on this....and bought one last year from Vintage. Great experience and love my car
