You can try loading your photos to an online photo storage site like Photobucket, then post a link to each pictures URL in the window that pops up pushing the picture icon on the taskbar above the forum post text box.

10-4 on the 71 probably not being an R, more an ST. A quick key is to look at the flaring. R, being a '67 model, had no flaring. STs had ~2" flares front and rear and was able to run up to a 2.5L engine with the new C Production rule change of 1970. Please post whatever pictures you take!

I'll let you see the pics when I take them, but that won't be until the end of April when our little town has it's parade. I've tried your suggestion about inserting the URL address in the box when it pop's up, but I get an error message each time. I do use photobucket and flock to upload from my computer. I have tried dragging and dropping the pics in the message box and on one occasion got a nice large picture to post of my car. I haven't been successful in that approach since .

I think of my 87 as being just a baby....she's not old, she's just something of a beauty that a lot of newer P car owner's wished they had. I've owned her for 20 years and we know each other well.....

http://I now have 14 P cars for my Porshe Parade in Oxford, MD two weeks from today. The earliest is a 1971 914/6 race car with a transplanted 1988 3.2 carburated engine, several early 1970's 911's including an RS, T & R, two or three early 80's SC's, three 87 and 88 Carreras, a 93' 964, a 2006 987 S, two 944's, two other Boxster S's and a couple of Cayennes. I also have a lead on someone who owns a pristeen 928 but I don't know anyone around here with a Cayman!!! I can't wait to get these beauties together for this parade...Pipes.

... a little fun "upgrading" the front end this weekend. Anyone need tips on removing 36year old tie-rods from a steering rack...I'm a master now

Some red paint on those calipers would look pretty good. I refinished my calipers the winter before last with yellow paint and they look good on the black car. I also had turbo tie rods installed on my car when I had it lowered a couple of years ago.

Although some paint on them would definitely clean them up and make them more visible through the wheels, I'm going more the early race-car look...plain alloy. After all, paint adds weight

Think about selling your spare tire and jack!!! When's the last time you had a flat or blowout??? Now that's a weight savings worth thinking about!!!

Mine's just a grocery getter....never been on the track....208K miles, but just a quiet oinker for some of the newer grunt getters.
