86 Carrera Exhuast

Good Evening Guys,
A buddy of mine is looking at an 86 Carrera. The picture shows dual exhaust and we were wondering if that is factory or if they came stock as single.

Thanks!

Stock is single exhaust. If the car in question has a dual outlet exhaust, it is for sure aftermarket. I have the Fabspeed dual outlet exhaust on my '87 and absolutely enjoy it!

Single exhaust outlet is factory stock...dual is aftermarket...my 87 has B&B SS headers w/single chamber SS muffler and dual 4" SS oval outlets and it sounds awesome. Pipes

Have an '85 with dual pipes. Took OEM exhaust and modified it for twin pipes.

Let me double check, my mechanic did it for me a long time ago (5 years) and I forgot how he did it.

I am running a "test" pipe as well....
