I was really in the market for an '87-'89 911, but happened upon this '83 Slant Nose conversion and wanted to get your opinion on what you think of this style of car.

This conversion is an all steel conversion done in Germany and imported here in '90, looks good and solid but can't tell it was a factory conversion or not. Other wise stock engine, AC unit out. Body, paint and interior is immaculate and looks pretty stunning.

So what do you think? A waste of a good car, flashingly gaudy or stunningly cool?

 

I'd prefer a coupe over the cab, but that is just my taste.
If it is a quality conversion, should be a good one. Can you have a good shop check it over first?

 

Yes, I'll definitely get a good ppi before I consider buying it.
