When is enough

I am trying to start a 911 collection.

in three.years I have managed to put my hands on the following cars:

930 turbo 1982

964 C2 1990

993 C2 Cabrio 1994

996 Turbo S 2005

997 4S Cabrio 2010p>

which model should I go for next.

Is a GT3 a must in a collection?

And most of all when to stop?

Just what I thought!
However I think a 996 GT3 is a good start. What do you think?.
Regarding the pictures I will start posting all my garage. Including the cayenne turbo 957 and 958 S as well as my querky 914 74 2.0.
Glad to share pix.

Yes, I know you already have the models you listed above, but for the collection the models/versions I mentioned will only go up in value and make your collection more complete. Also, a 78 930 would be the cats meow....but since you already have a 82 930....that still works in my book. Check the value of the cars I mentioned and I think you will be surprised.

Wide bodies with limited runs, you can't go wrong.

Nonetheless, I commend you for your quest/effort in obtaining these vehicles.

Best,
VID

1997 Turbo S

Thanks,

The work wash area is where I get away from it all so I spared no cost.
The wife however claims the cars have better living conditions than my family have.

Regarding the above mentioned cars or should I say the itches I just cannot scratch, unfortunately the law of the land (Lebanon) states that you cannot import a vehicle into the country before 30 years pass on the last production date of the last vehicle off the line.
You can imagine the impossibility of finding these cars in Lebanon or importing them prior to your death of old age.
let alone finding in good condition and at a price that will not break you!

I have been through hell to put my hands on these babies. I envy you guys for the huge choice in the American market.
It is also worth mentioning that any car will be strapped with 60-30% custom duties depending on age, 10% VAT, 10-7% registration.

All these conditions make the cars rare and ridiculously expensive.
I could have spent half the money in the states with cars needing less maintenance.

993 Turbo S would be my next pick as well, but if that's not a possibility, how about a 997 GT2 RS?

Nice but... At least cheaper than the 993 turbo S .

I read an article where one was being offered for 300K

A very very subjective issue.
My 930 is tame compared to the GT2. The GT2 is insane, its like riding the Devil and hanging on to its horns :-)
