The 72 RSR has to be my favorite. What a classic.

Thanks! Do you really want to get rid of yours? As much as I like alot of other 911's, my eyes are happiest looking at a tail-less ***.

Thanks! The SC is a GREAT car, my mechanic still is mad at me for selling it, but I did a lot of suspension mods that made it handle really well, but weren't to comfortable for everyday driving. As I got older, I felt I wanted something more civilized, thus went from a Targa to a Coupe.

I thought about keeping the SC, but when we had our 68 912 and the 80 911, I tended to drive the newer car much more, and knew that if I kept the SC, with the 993, the SC would hardly be used. It is in the hands of a great guy in Oklahoma that longed for a 911, and he takes great care of it, and is happy as a clam to have a 911. It is far better having someone else enjoying it than wasting away in my garage.

you've read my mind and stated my thoughts exactly. My spouse would say that now I have a modern car with airbags, very important to her, and even cupholders. Hope that my SC will find a good home. The smog pump came in today, and the work should be done soon. Smog needed for registration transfer in California. I've communicated with several people via 6speed, and will soon be advertising with the PCA and all around. $12,500 o.b.o. Take good care....

check out my precious 1979 911SC that's for sale. It runs well, engine strong, and of course with 326k miles could use some full restoration. 165k on the engine which is now getting CA smog pump for sale purposes. Obsessively maintained. Check the listing on the marketplace section of 6speed. pm with any questions.
$12500 o.b.o. Here come some pics:
