Value Of A 1 Owner 69 911t Cal Car "mint"
Who Can Tell Me What The Value Of A One Owner California Black Plate 1969 911 T With A Sunroof Is Worth. The Car Has Been Garaged Its Entire Life And Is In Very Very Nice Shape. It Comes With Every Record Since Day One. I Have Been Offered This Car, But I Don't Know What Its Value Is.
Thanks

Just off the top of my head I would say....$17,000 to $25,000. If it were an "S" it would be worth more. An "S" will average $10,000 more than a "T" in the same condition.
My good friend has a perfect 1969S that would be hard tp let go for anything less than $40,000.

I'd estimate a bit more than that depending on miles. The early car values have gone crazy over the last couple years- going up fast enough that it's tough to keep up. The Excellence magazine market report gave an estimate of 22900 for an excellent condition '69T, and it sounds like this car, based in california where values tend to be high, should be a little above that. That market report also tends to lag behind the market when it's moving fast, as it is now. Values for the same car in:
2004- 11500
2005- 14300
2006- 17850
2007- 22900
Excellence says that "beyond excellent" cars are worth 10% more, and I'd suspect you're currently looking at a 25-30k car if the condition is as good as you suggest.
The 911S's values are now so high that people are starting to fake them, like they used to with '73 RS cars.

I wish more people held on to there cars and sold them for what Excellence gives as market value. Most cars will go for less money than Excellence's market value. I agree with there values, but its up to sellers to keep values where they "should" be. I have seen way too many 911's sold for crazy cheap money...esp the 3.2's.
The "Longhoods" are fetching large money these days, and the SC's are starting to go up and up.

About a couple of years ago, i had the chance to purchase a 69 911T all original 40+K original miles, black plates all records etc.... for $16K
really depends on the owner, and condition of car, has he been driving it regularly? has the car been sitting for years? etc... price can vary from there...
