I am about finished with my projects and will be looking to start another soon. I think I am going to have to convert a 928! I am not sure about using the renegade hybrids kit or just finding a way to use all C5/C6 gear.

Show me what you have if you have converted your 928!!!!

There is one or two guys on Rennlist that have used basically the Renegade stuff for the most part. You'll find that a lot of stuff does not really fit, and the 928 electrics are everywhere. I have thought about going this route as well with an early car. Big issue is the LSX stuff is very light compared with the 928 engines. So, it'll tend to sit high. Also, Corvette gearbox doesn't really fit from what i've heard. Though I did stumble across someone who has the required (for what the website says) parts for the conversion for a Corvette trans.

Like I said, pretty common for everyone that knows 928s to know that it won't work. 928 community on Rennlist is very tight-knit. HUGE amount of info there. Many other viable alternatives to putting in a LSX setup. There are plenty of supercharged 928s running around, and some big displacement NA motors.
