928 On mythbusters
Sorry I was premature on posting pics. Here is the 928 that they cut and remounted the body backward to check if it was more areodyanamic going forward or backward.

 

I guess a wind tunnel test wouldn't have been quite as dramatic or been able to stretch it out long enough for a segment??? Knuckleheads!! Did they at least put it out of it's misery by blowing it up?

 

I hate to see perfectly good cars destroyed.

 

Too bad the chimps on that show cannot find better things to do with their time and other people's money.

That was a cool episode!

 

Mike Allen is a friend of the family. My uncle and he have been race parnters since the early 70's. He is the editor of Popular mechanics automotive. He has the coolest job!

 

It was fun to watch, but you can't put much stock into any of the results. Even in the end when they raced the two cars, the red car was an early 928 and the grey car was a 928S, or it just had S spoilers. It really was a shame to see them destroy a perfectly good 928.

 

What a waste of a 928.
