'86 911 carrera, 930 body, non-turbo??

I posted this in the off topic, but figured I'd try posting it in here as well...

I know next to nothing about these cars, but has anyone ever heard of this car? I tried searching around online, e-bay, google, etc., but only came up with turbo models, and apparantly it's very rare? (800 or so?) But I haven't seen or heard anything about the non-turbo model.

If anyone can tell me ANYTHING about this car, I'd really appreciate it.

It looks kind of like this... but not modified at all.

Thanks,
Emilie

That's a slantnose. Rare cars but not unique. I have also seen non 930 with widebody from the factory. A google search for slantnose 911 will throw lots of info.

Looks like someone went a little crazy with aftermarket mods.

The factory widebody (non-slantnose) option code is M491.

Around $25K for the upgrade from Porsche if I remember correctly, in late 80s dollars

911 widebody

Hey, I think that you have a standard 911 there, with a conversion to 930s look, feel under the fenders and 1/4s for lap welds. Also check for 2 headlight motors, dead giveaway for a conversion. I don't think it's a factory car but its nice! Cheers,Mike
