i have just installed fabspeed performance packages for 930 turbo and i notice the header turn red hot when the engine is ideling. Is it normal. Can any one advise.

Hey Dave, yes the header collector will turn bright orange at the Turbo connection but under full throttle or heavy use. It shouldn't glow while idling, so I would check all exhaust connections and also verify the engine isn't running too rich or lean.

Mine doesn't do that at all, if yours is glowing think lean. What are your AFRs running?
Not normal.

Alex/Joe,
I installed the headers with the supplied braided line, I noticed that you used hard lines. I'm considering switching back to the hard lines myself, is there so me reason you abandoned the braided?
I have to say, I don't like the way the braided line routes into the thermostat with the factory slant/ factory fenderwell oil cooler.
