Trade the 997TT For one of These???

Agreed. I bought a 1972 Datsun 240Z for $5500 and did something like this (no widebody... not cool on those cars) but a very extensive resto-mod (2003 Sylvia turbo drivetrain, coilovers, etc) and I'm well over $80k now. Again, I started with a five thousand dollar car. A Jap car, at that.

They don't call me Dr. Feelgood for nothing.
Dan-
Don't let Steve fool you... I bet he spends plenty of time feeding peoples additions in the ER! I heard he's the guy to go to if you have a thing for Dilaudid.
Just kidding Steve! This would be a really cool project but I think I tend to agree with ZLP on this one, going to be bigger $$ than it might seem like up front. Spend a little time over on Rennlist and Pelican forums and you'll be blown away at what some of these things cost.
If you get a chance, check out Zack's car. I saw it over at DJ's when I was having some work done. Maybe not as bad *** as the build in question on this thread, but one sweet, sweet ride.

TIt has the big brake up grades and big rotors. The fenders front and rear, gt2 tail as well as the rear bumper is carbon fiber. i have a spare engine too. TRG coil over shocks. What a beast. The car is beautiful too. Not sure what you could get for it. Seems like highly modified cars are not that easy to sell these days. Let me know if you really are interested in selling and how much you would be willing to sell the car for when you decide.

I agree. Some people are into all the funky looking aftermarket body kits but I think the stock stuff looks the best. I bet what I paid for a new steel fender from Porsche could almost buy the whole kit in question. Everybody has their own taste and opinion of how to do things right, this is just mine.

Well, like most true projects, you start with a turd like this He is working on it to look just like the orange porsche above! Right now the wide body is completed. He already bought the Work Wheels from us and he is trying to get it ready by Jan. I will be maintaining a galley here - http://www.vividracing.com/forums/ga...ages.php?c=377
Did you order the Work hoop & face separately like how it is suppose to be done? because Work doesn't make the size that you see on all the RWB cars, Nakai-san only used part of the wheel (i forgot if it was the back hoop or front hoop).

I couldn't imagine ,for a second, doing a residency again, (I came out of a pyramid program).
