exhaust next
I'm currently in the process of getting a
race exhaust system together. After a lot of searching I think I'll be going with rarlyl8. I'll post pics in the next few weeks.

Rarlyl8
I just got my rarlyl8 exhaust (muffler and tip) in the mail and it looks awesome. Very nice build quality. feels like a very solid piece of metal and the finish is beautiful. Thanks Brian! I will post pics as soon as I get it mounted. If I can post a sound clip that would be even better.

Plexi,
Congrats on the purchase. Beautiful.
What shop did the engine out work? SGS (Guy's) Porsche?
My favorite road in the area is highway 229 (Webster Rd.) just east of Santa Margarita. It's like a roller coaster for cars.

For my wife's Cayenne we go to Guy's shop but for the 930 I've gotten all the work done by Franz Bluschke. He races 911's at Buttonwillow race track and owns a shop where it seems he spends 90% of his time working on his own race car and the other 10% fixing other peoples cars to raise money to keep his car running. Does very good work. I recommend him highly. But like all very specific German car mechanics, he ain't cheap!

Great looking 930. I see you've had it for a while now and still enthusiastic about it. I just took the plunge last week and got a very nice 42K mile example that is highly modified and faster than I deserve. I have wanted one since they first came out in the seventies. Mine is an 87 coupe. Pictures below:

Bought my 1st 930 Turbo 1982 today.

Black on black 50k on the odometer. All original with black Fuchs rims.

For a mysterious reason, can't get that stupid smile off my face. All day long I keep staring at that thing. It's a childhood dream come true.

Even though I own 7 other Porsches. This one is like the Cherry on top. The driving experience is something else. The car is a deranged lunatic.

Hope I am not the only one to feel this way.
