My wife got me an awesome birthday gift

Well I was totally surprised and had no idea that my wife got me a 944 porsche. It was my father in laws and all original with only 41kmi on it. She even paid for it herself with her own $ (she doesnt work. stay at home mom). Its perfect outside, but I will be swapping my old 04 gto's ls1 in it thanks to http://www.renegadehybrids.com and it should be an animal!

here is an old pic.

Nice 944. The Renegade Hybrid conversion is a great kit. I have a 72 914 with a 400 horse sbc I built using Renegade, great quality and a friendly staff.

Phil2,

Sat I did not have time to get any pics and it has doen nothing but rain since late Sat night early Sun morning so I did not have a chance to even pull the car of the garage. As soon as the weather breaks I will pull it out and take some and post. Thanks.

I sure hope so. Anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced 944 turbo tranny from?

There's some on eBay, otherwise try the local salvage yards.

Thumbs up Way to go wife!

Congrats. There's nothing better than a woman that understands and supports a man's automotive addiction.
