ratherton is infamous around these parts
What piston to wall clearance are you running on the pistons? I will be doing the same process with an S2 block however I will need a piston set up differently for the longer stroke.

I'll have to look at my paperwork and get back to you on that one. The shop in CT fit the pistons so I don't know off hand

Thanks. UPDATE: More speed bumps were hit. I had an O-ringed head which wasn't compatible with my Cometic head gasket, so those had to be removed and the groove welded. Then, I found out that I had a bent valve (still trying to work that out with LR) so I had to aquire another one of those. On friday my machine guy cut the new valve to match the others and reassembled the head. The head is now mounted and either today or tomorrow the belts and clutch will be installed. So I'm looking to have the engine put in this week and hopefully running this weekend.

So I didn't get my car running before being deployed to Japan. Everything was installed, I filled it up the fluids and found out I had a nice leak in my radiator. I tried turning it over just to see if it would start, everything powered up correctly (which was big because I was concerned after all the wiring for the MAF and O2 sensor) and it cranked but wouldn't start. I tightened up a leak at the fuel pump and tried again, no joy. I didn't have time to trouble shoot because I needed it in my storage unit. On the long flight out here to Japan I realized I had my ignition wires improperly placed on the distributor cap. I anticipate it starting right up once that stupid mistake is corrected. I have taken orders to Italy, I move in July. I may not be able to take my car with me, so if there is anyone interested in a Monster 951 let me know, I'm considering selling it.
