That's Alois Ruf's ex-personal car....I guess a price closer to $150k...its a Ruf vin car and the one at Ruf Dallas, is Dr. Joe's old converted car w/o many of the key features of the one above....such as built from scratch, IRC, shaved gutters custom interior, etc. etc.

Pricing on RCT Evos depend on the modifications. Mine was the 2nd RCT Evo built by Alois (the first one belonged to my dear friend Jimmy Bou (RIP) and that car was totalled in 2001). Alois personal RCT Evo was built later.
My car cost me close to $130,000 back in 2001. There is no way that you can build a similar car for less than $150,000, including the cost of a cheap C2 or C4.
My car started as a 1989 C4 purchased for $18,500 in 1996. I converted it to RCT and tracked it until the end of 1999, when I shipped it to Pfaffenhausen. The RCT Evo conversion started in 2000 and finished in 2001. These are some of the modifications:
993 engine pistons, cylinders and heads
bigger RCT Evo turbo
RCT Evo ECU programing
Titanium connecting rods
993 GT2 solid engine mounts
993 GT2 single pulley for engine fan and alternator
single mass flywheel and 993 GT2 clutch
993 6 spped gear box with taller 6 gear (325 kmh at red line)
993 GT2 aluminium front wheel hub carriers (it lowers the car and saves weight)
Ruf shock absorbers
Ruf strut tower brace
964 RS suspension, including front control arms, rear banana arms, rear spring plates, f/r adjustable sway bars
964 RS car wiring harness (saves weight)
993 RS steering rack
F/R big red brakes and rotors
964 RS brake system (identical to 964 3.6 Turbo)
front mounted engine oil cooler
integrated roll cage with cross bar connecting the A pillars, and removable bars connecting the B pillars, the A and B pillars (the doors entrance) and the back of the car
New roof skin w/o sunroof and shave rain gutters
Ruf door mirros
993 RS door panels covered in leather
996 GT3 seats covered in leather
Leather covered dash
Ruf VDO gauges, including boost gauge replacing the clock
Ruf aluminium pedals
993 GT2 sun visors (smaller)
6 point harness and factory seat belts
ETC...
I will try to post some pictures of the conversion.
