Reproduction/OEM Fuchs- Looking for some new wheels
I'm looking for some good condition Fuchs, or some new reproductions.
Does anyone know of any companies that sell repros?
ANyone have experience with this company and its wheels? http://www.sierramadrecollection.com..._detail&p=1828
Or the other option is a nice used set of Fuchs, but I'm not having a ton of luck finding some. ANyone have a nice set with tires in the PA area?
These are going on a 1990 Carrera 2 convertible. Other suggestions for wheels would be nice too, I was also looking at the 17in wheels on tire rack for $159 a piece. They are 5 spoke, sort of a turbo twist with less twist. They are the last ones that come up and are silver. I have determined that a BBS mesh style wheel is out, but am really interested in Fuchs.
Thanks for any help,
-James

Another quick question.
That website lists the wheels for up to the year '89. The car these are going on is an 1990.
Does anyone know what the proper offsets should be for a 16x7 or 16x8 front, and a 16x8 or 16x9in rear? This site lists the offset for the 16x8 at et+10.6 and the rear 16x9 at et+15. Also, does the bore remain the same for the 964 as it would be for a 930 (pre 1990 911s). The only other thing I can think of that would keep these from fitting a 1990+ would be brake clearance? Do I need a 17inch wheel to do that? Sorry for all the question, but I know more than I'd ever need to about wheel fitment for BMWs, but am new to Porsches. Also, it doesn't seem as if there is an easy place to get all of these answers for older P-cars, along with basic info and development changes.
What do you guys suggest in general in terms of sizing? 7in or 8 in front, and 8in or 9in rear? The wheel and tire package has 7in front and 9in rear, but would having a wider front width balance the car better and maybe reduce understeer?
Thanks again.
