Buying a 964. Help!!!!

I am currently an owner of a 2001 boxster 2.7 and drive it 4 days in a week. All my life I have dreamt of owning a 911 and recently found what looked like a very good example on the exterior, however when I had it inspected( an expensive exercise but was well worth it) found some minor electrical things to be sorted and an engine oil leaks which the inspector claims was minor then went on to say that to truly find out the source of the leak would need to pull down the engine. and a problem on the No. 8 bearing?. I really love the car but was wondering if this reasons are enough to for me to walk away?
any thoughts will be appreciated. Cheers
Carl

The car has 127k kilometres on the clock. Price is $AU 52,000. Mind you ,here in the land down under the govt is robbing us blind in taxes. A new basic 991 will set you back $AU 230,000. How much oil leak is too much?

my tip: do not buy a car that has such problems you will have alot of trouble in the end... also a car which has such problems often had severe damages. although its almost impossible to buy a 964er that is completely accident free you have to be careful. in this sector are alot of conmen..
