TBL's don't count.
LOL, Porsche up to their same old tricks, taking segment times and piecing together lap times. Funny how all of the Porsche times end with a .00 like they are perfect at getting exact lap times.
All these years and they have supplied what 1 actually proven lap time.
Aside from that, the TBL is likely done on regular street tires vs R-comp or R-comp level grip on all of the non exotic cars. So if they actually clocked a hot lap at 7:26, that would be impressive.
Rest assured the GT3 will be faster than that. They will hamstring the Turbo to make sure it's slower. You can count on that.

This list seems to show a bunch of cars with times ending in ".00"

Doesn't change anything, and doesn't make them any more valid than a TBL or manufacturer estimate. In fact what that tells you is that they did NOT actually lap the car in that time.
NOT to be confused with an actual hot lap.

It was disputed.
The actual time was a high 7:19.##, but according to the video there was a car that got in the way around a turn that negated a faster speed on the following straight. Nissan took other times for that same segment (between the entry of one turn and the entry to the next), and substituted for that one turn combination to get the 7:19.1. Whether or not it was a .5 or .6 delay, to me, is irrelevant, because even with the car supposedly interfering with the lap, the time was still 7:19 (which I find more impressive).
Now, back on topic - a 7:29 (for the Turbo) would be an impressive time. I'm sure we'll see someone run it soon for that "hot lap" time.

And that 7:19 doesn't show up on the Supercars.net list nor on Wiki. Interesting indeed.

Good info. The GT-R and Z06 with Z07 package are crazy impressive though. They stick out like crazy everytime I see the list. I have driven a 997 turbo and loved it but have yet to drive a GT-R and can only imagaine how it would feel. Anything under 730 and its very impressive.

what does TBL stand for? I thought the GTR was on racing slicks and thus "cheating"
An of you whoh ave not been to the Ring, its a must see experience, you need to add it to your "bucket list" or better yet just go and do it.
