I might order the racing yellow gauges to match the yellow calipers which I thought was a genius idea for my 991 TTS...and if I had bought a Turbo...red gauges for the red calipers would have been the ticket (for me anyway). Really Nice car

Hey TAch/Overdraft,
You both have valid points to be sure. There was a custom build at the dealer that was very similar that I almost pulled the trigger on. It had the same interior with the Guards dials - it looked slick with the two-tone red/black. I would do the yellow dials on a GT3/RS but not a TTS.
Still waffling on dials - wife thinks I'm cracked.
Thanks for the replies.
Cheers

Hey Guys,
With regards to the Guards dials would it appear incongruous to have the main cluster in standard black and the sports chrono in red? I want the car to be somewhat exclusive without being too garish. Also, is the fire extinguisher a worthwhile option?

I didn't get an "S", so that combo wasn't available (unless I did lots of "Exclusive" substitutions).

Ha B&O, every color on the TT/S is "classy!"

Hi B&O guy,
Great build. Congrats!
If I may give one suggestion, I would skip the red dials and get the standard black ones. The colored are hardly noticeable when the lights are on and the guards red doesn't match the Carrera red of the interior. To each their own of course. One thing is most important: order what YOU like, not what other people like (unless the other people pay for your car)
BTW... I'm a B&O girl

Hi Suzy,
Thanks for your insight. I thought your TTS review was splendid and it certainly swayed me towards the Turbo. I've been vacillating on dial colour but I'm leaning towards the chrono in red and the main cluster in black. I saw the Guards Red dials in a Carrera Red/Black interior and I'm aware the reds don't synch entirely but I thought the red chrono would align with the two-tone theme. The chrono dial being so small the colour differentiation would be negligible - plus I thought the red would pop on the black leather dash - I like red.
I hope you don't mind me saying (writing) this but you are the coolest chick I've never met!
Cheers from Canada,
Allan

This is your first Porsche?
Tell me that you have driven other high performance cars.
If you haven't, remember this: Discretion is the better part of throttle.
If you forget that, you may become an "involuntary spectator".
Good Luck.
