Sorry I'm talking about the Turbo. I thought you were as well given the subject of the thread
Doing some math now based on precedent....997 TT came out in 06 with a facelift in 09. 991 TT came out in 13 so expect a facelift in 16. Don't think by end of next year...possible by mid,16

Correctamundo. Model Year 2016 991 expected in production early Spring of Calendar year 2015 with face-lift. Don't know if face-lifted 991 Turbo & Turbo S will follow that same schedule as they often beat to a different drum. But, it wouldn't surprise me if we see the facelift on that '16 model too at approx. same time (say no later than June of 2015)!
Doc, I usually just post on Rennlist. Funny you would post that comment & add my name!

Guys is the .1 production shorter than the .2 production?
Just trying to calculate in comparison to the 997. So the 997.1 Turbo came out in 2006 and lasted until 2012 (6 years) with a facelift/new engine mid-production in 2009.
Were customers taking delivery of their '06 Turbos in the fall of '05 and '09 Turbos in the fall of '08?
How would this compare to the 991TT... People took delivery of their 991.1 TTs in the fall of 2013 (making them 2014 models). Does this mean that customers would take delivery of the 991.2 TT in the fall of 2016 (as 2017 models)?
