Need some help with codes
Hello, I was driving my car last night and ran into the the store to pick up some booze, when I came out the car had a check engine light on. I pulled the codes and I have p0492 and p1487. Anyone else have this happen?

The diagnostics for P0492 are below, there is no P1487 listed for 991!
Diagnosis information Control unit DME (DFI)
Secondary air system Bank 1 and Bank 2
Diagnostic conditions:
Perform all short tests from top to bottom, up to and including secondary air.
or:
Diagnosis starts under the following conditions: :
- Engine running
, at:
- Ambient temperature > 5 °C (°F)
- Engine start temperature 5 ... 40 °C (°F)
- Secondary air injection Active
- none of the following faults stored: Oxygen sensor in front of catalytic converter,
Coolant temperature sensor Engine , Camshaft adjustment, Ambient pressure, Ambient
temperature
Diagnosis will be interrupted for as long as the following conditions exist:
- Engine speed > 3,500 1/min
- Mass air flow > 750 mg/stroke
- Overrun phase(s)
INFORMATION
- Diagnostics ends with the end of secondary air injection.
- A certain number of measurements must have taken place within diagnostics, between
operational readiness of the oxygen sensors and the end of secondary air injection.
- If this is not the case, diagnostics is ended without a result.
Possible fault causes:
- Air inlet duct (Secondary air pump ) Narrowed / Blocked
- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the line Secondary air pump relay (Working current circuit)
- Secondary air pump relay Faulty
- Leads Secondary air injection leaks
- Secondary air valve stuck / frozen
- Air inlet duct (Engine ) Narrowed /fouled
- Fuel/air mixture preparation not adapted
- Secondary air at oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter
- Catalytic converter Faulty (broken)
Fault setting condition(s)
- Deviation Lambda control Actual value <> Nominal value
The diagnosis checks whether deviation of the oxygen sensors is as expected upon
activation.
In case you meant 1478:
Diagnosis information Control unit DME (DFI)
Engine coolant shutoff valve stuck closed
or
Thermostat stuck closed
Diagnostic conditions
- Uniform driving (only slight changes in rpm and torque)
- Setpoint engine temperature (T005) > 104.25 °C (°F)
- Coolant temperature Engine (T020) = setpoint engine temperature (T005)
- Coolant temperature Radiator output (T025) < 80 °C (°F)
- Engine speed 1,200 ... 3,500 1/min
- Air conditioner OFF (= heating valve must not switch during diagnostics)
Possible fault causes
- Solenoid switchover valve for coolant shutoff valve vacuum unit mechanically stuck
- Vacuum lines on the solenoid switchover valve interchanged
- Vacuum lines or electrical lines of the solenoid switchover valve interchanged with another solenoid switchover valve
- Engine coolant shutoff valve faulty ( stuck closed)
- Thermostat faulty (stuck closed)
- Air trapped in the cooling system (e.g. after repairs were performed on the cooling system)
