MPG & PDK question
1. my TTS is bone stock and was wondering what most of you got or are getting MPG driving around mostly in SPORT?
2. I was noticing on a cold start up in sport moving to manual shift that upshifts using the PDK are not BLIP quick.... but a pretty significant delay until car warms up...im not talking aggressive high RPM shifts just not an "on demand" shift...downshifts yes but not up...after car warms up it will respond on demand.
thanks guys

This is my bone stock 2 cents....
I haven't done several tank fulls in 'Sport' mode back-to-back but I think my fuel burn was about 16-17 mpg. 'Sport Plus' is about 8 mpg over the course of a track day.
I'm a "Normal" mode driver most of the time, and after +11,000 miles I've averaged about 22-23 mpg. My 'average' calculation is typically the trip odometer miles divided by my refuel gallons. It's not scientific but after this many miles it's both accurate enough and amazing! What was really noticeable was how the engine seemed to loosen up and feel more powerful around 6500 miles.
To the OP's second point I have not noticed PDK shifting changes as the car warms up, but I'm easy on the throttle until engine temperature is normal.
This may be the first Turbo that I-- if it is possible with PDK-- wear out gears 5-6 instead of 2-3

Worst MPG is 14 and that was a lot of Sport + and a few LC's. Best was 26 all highway in wife mode. I calculate at every fill up.
Point 2 I have never noticed that delay, sorry not more help.

The car also calculates it for you. You guys must drive like old ladies to get that kind of mileage. I use sport and manual shift. I don't let the RPMs drop below 2500 most of the time. I hate lugging the car.

Yeah I do it the old fashioned way.

After selling my Cayenne GTS, my TTS became my daily driver, so I guess I do drive like the old fart that I am now...most of the time, but I've also gotten my money's worth out of my K40 Unfortunately, I need more track time to truly flex this magnificent machine!

If you let it shift for you then you will find it likes 1500 rpm most of the time, ugh, I hate that so I put it in sport and use the paddles. I don't drift below 2500 and of course that reduces my fuel efficiency. Gas is relatively cheap right now anyway so it's no big deal. I am nearly an old fart, just nine months to go now until 60.

I can't imagine most TTS owners even ever think about MPG (seeing this thread is my first time). I just wish it were easier to find higher octane gas here.

I do just cruise around in wife mode when around town, which isn't all that much as this is not my DD. When headed for a purpose trip or a little spin it is in Sport mode and driving a little harder. Then when heading through the canyons it gets put in Sport+ and off she goes.
I assure you I don't drive that conservative but so I don't get my man card revoked and most importantly my Turbo impounded for lady driving I will do my best to get the next tank in the single digit MPG. I'll report back

MPG & PDK question
My highway miles per gallon can go up to about 22 or 23.
My worst MPG was at circuit of the Americas where I was in sport plus the whole time pushing the car to its limit. I got 4 miles per gallon there. Never seen my gas tank empty so fast

Here is my mpg for the last 3500 miles or so as calculated by the car. Notice the avg speed is only 25mph. Lot's of around town traffic in there but that includes some highway and a couple of track days as well but those miles are in the minority.

Love it!
