I was just thinking about how upset I would be if I took time off from work, shipped my car down there and had those conditions.

I bet I would've done better with R888s or MTs than my PSS.
My fastest run was at 30 psi in the rear. It was 160.3 mph. Track was just far far too cold to hook. And in one run in the morning across went almost blew me in my car right off the runway and I had to lift. good to meet you too Enrique

every racer knows this is the way it is

its a large investment for the promotor to put on these events. just about every event has a rain or shine provision since they don't get any refund from the airfield owner. no way to predict the weather in fl or texas when the mile runs in oct. some yrs its good some not so good. its a risk all racers take to get the chance to run as fast as possible .

Weather forecast is for 55 degrees high. Not great for tire traction at all. Right now it's 28 in Ocala Florida. But there won't be any wind at least. I had a huge wind gust Saturday morning that almost blew me right off the course causing me to lift.?
Was happy to see the car was much faster than the 650s and Huracan. There was a great looking black 991 Turbo here that trapped at 151. I don't know if that was the Cobb stage 2 with EP. Sad there were no Cobb stage 3 cars to offer some good competition

I've had that happen and just drove the 2 hours back home from Lime Rock. Oh well it happens.
